Early Childhood Special Education/Child Find, Ages Birth-K– Screenings and evaluation are available for children birth to kindergarten age to determine eligibility for special education.  Children birth to three years old are referred, if appropriate, to the local Part C program, which assists parents in accessing services to benefit their child and family.  Eligible children ages three to kindergarten are provided special education services according to their individual education plan (IEP).

The Early Childhood special education teacher, Britney Parmenter, is available to assist with child find referrals for children ages 3-5.  She is available at (303)646-6716.

Ages 6-21 Child Find Services – Child Find services for students between the ages of 6 and 21 are provided by the special education teachers at the local school buildings.  Contact  the Elizabeth Special Services office, Beverly Blagg at (303) 646-1844 for assistance.
