Randy Arellano has served as a Business Development Executive in the Financial Services, Insurance, and Outsourcing industries for more than 20 years developing new markets and/or business units for companies such as Ameritas Life & Investment Corp., SITEL Corporation, Aegon DMS, Sykes Enterprises, ACS (Affiliated Computer Services, Inc.),TRG Customer Solutions, and most recently APAC Customer Solutions.
Randy graduated from Bellevue University with distinction and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Global & International Business Management. Randy was raised in Grand Junction, Colorado and moved his family to the Elizabeth area over three years ago. His sons are both enrolled in the Elizabeth school district and are active in various team sports as well as motocross.
Daniel Hill, Secretary

Dr. Daniel G. Hill, 44, owns Elizabeth Family Dental. Dr. Hill went to Douglas County high school and grew up in this area. He and his wife Kelly have lived in the Elizabeth area since 2003 and have two kids attending school in the district. Dr. Hill’s wife is also a school bus driver for Elizabeth C-1.
Dr. Hill graduated from the University of Colorado School of Dentistry with a Doctor of Dental surgery degree and a bachelor of Science in medical science.
Dr. Hill is running for office to contribute his management and business experience to the Board and demonstrate the benefit of community service to his children, he said. The family participates in the annual Toys for Tots campaign and Hill extends his community service beyond the district boundaries.
Dr. Hill volunteers for the Elbert County health department, providing predentistry services for the underserved population in the county. This year he contributed thousands to the district when he provided free mouth guards to the football teams at Elizabeth’s high school and middle school.
Hill supports a vote to help improve the district’s financial picture.
“The mill levy vote is extremely important to this community so we can attract and retain a quality teaching staff and improve student enrollment,” Hill said. “We hope doing those two things will improve the quality of education and financial success at the district.”

Rick Stone, President

Rick Stone is presently serving on the Board as President and is serving his second term. Mr. Stone is an attorney with First Data Corporation. Mr. Stone graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1985 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science. In 1990 Mr. Stone received his Juris Doctorate and in 1991 received his Masters in Business Administration, also from the University of Colorado in Boulder. Stone was born and raised in Limon, Colorado and has lived in the district since 1999. He and is wife, a teacher within the district, have two kids attending Elizabeth schools. Mr. Stone’s agenda is to make the Elizabeth School District the best it can be for the students, parents, staff and community that supports it through critical thinking and creative solutions.
